Shane uses the Foresight Sports GC2 with HMT (Head Measurement Technology) in his lessons here at Bramford Golf Centre.

Firstly I would like to dispel a few myths you may have heard about launch monitors.
1, They are only suitable for the worlds best and elite golfers!
WRONG - I have used the GC2 with beginners that have instantly improved not only their technique but more importantly their understanding of what the club is doing at impact. Something that is vital during the improvement process.
2, It's too much information to take in!
WRONG - I will use the GC2 to find out exactly what is causing the ball to do what it does (good and bad) and will only use the relevant data to help you achieve the best outcomes from your lessons. Yes there is a lot of data but its how we use that data that's important, I will make sure that it's put across in a way you fully understand.
3, I don't need to know the numbers my coach uses video.
WRONG - Video is good but only gives us a picture in 2d! A swing can look a certain shape on the video but actually deliver very different numbers from ball data, for example a swing can appear out to in (over the top slice) on video but produce a draw shape ball flight. The other thing you have to be careful of with video is the distortion effect that makes it look as though the shaft is bending when it is actually not at all. I use high speed (slow-motion) video recording in all of my lessons as it greatly reduces this distortion.
With those out of the way here's a little more about the technology behind the GC2 -
gc2 is the only launch monitor that truly
measures player performance - here's how
High-resolution cameras capture up to 10,000 frames per second each
Stereoscopic lens arrangement that emulates "human eye" spatial recognition
Quick, EASY SETUP
With a patented on-screen golf ball identification system and self-leveling accelerometer, the GC2 redefines simplicity. No calibration. No marked balls. Out of the golf bag, the GC2 can be set up and ready to go in less than a minute.
At the heart of the GC2 is a stereoscopic camera system that precisely captures and analyzes ball characteristics at the most critical point of measurement - club impact - to deliver the most accurate values of ball performance available today.
I've had the GC2 since January and have to say that I'm even more impressed with it than I'd expected, and I was expecting a lot!
The biggest thing I've noticed is how much easier it's been for my students to adapt to small changes in 'feel' to achieve huge changes in ball data.
My question to you would be do you REALLY know what causes your common misses??
If not then how can you possibly improve!? And if you think you do, how confident are you that you have identified the root cause of the problem rather than wasting time trying to fix the resulting swing fault??
What you really need is the Game Changer!
Here is an example of a typical improvement during a 30 minute lesson working with 1 club. We can see a dispersion improvement in length from 31 yards down to just 14 and direction from 26 yards down to just 7 yards!
This means that you will be hitting more greens and greatly improving your scoring potential.
If you are serious about improving your golf then you really should have a lesson with me on the GC2.
