It will be compulsory for you to provide this information in order to allow you to enter the golf centre or to sit in our outside seating areas and is applicable site wide.

Failure to provide this information will mean we be unable to serve you!

We would also like to remind all golf members and visiting golfer that even if you have pre booked your game YOU MUST still ‘sign in’ in the reception are before making your way to the course. This is necessary so we know who is one the course but also allows us to ensure that we have your correct and up to date contact details.

As of 14/9/20 you will only be able to sit in groups of a maximum of 6 if you are meeting people who are from outside of your household or support bubble. A group of more than 6 people will only be permissible if you all live together or are a part of a support bubble. This law is applicable to both indoor and outdoor areas.

BGC Management

Given the unprecedented situation regarding COVID-19 we want to reassure you that we have done all we can to prepare our premises for a safe return to golf.

Therefore from WEDNESDAY13th MAY the golf course will be OPEN under the following conditions ...

To make the most of the lovely long sunlight hours we have, tee times will be available at 10-minute intervals from 9am to 7pm daily.  (Opening at this time will allow greenstaff to cut greens prior to opening).

TEE TIMES MUST BE BOOKED via telephone on 01473 830694 and this applies to members and visitors.  Visitors are permitted to pay on the telephone at time of booking or with contactless payment on arrival.

Play is permitted in groups of up to 4 wherby all golfers may live in diferent households.

Social distancing guidline must be oberseved.

I am sorry but it is unlikely you will be able to tee off if you arrive late, however, do call us and we will try and sort something out!

While using the facilities:

1. Maintain social distancing as set by the government guidelines

2. Do not use divot boxes on the tees, these will be used by green staff only.

3. There are no rakes in the bunkers so please use your own club or foot to smooth sand as best as possible.

4. There are no rubbish bins on the golf course. Please use the large bin in the car park, or take your rubbish away with you.

5. Do not touch or remove flagsticks. Golf holes have been raised to allow ball retrieval without touching the hole. A ball is deemed ‘holed’ if it hits any part of the cup.

Now available for 1 - 1 coaching! Please contact either Sarah, Rob or Luke directly to book.

Driving range open from 9am – 7pm daily.

To use the driving range you will go through the building, however please do not enter until invited in by staff.

Payment is contactless and after paying you will be allocated a bay number and will then collect your basket of range balls. Driving ranges rules are clearly displayed at reception. At present there will be no happy hour, however range members and golf club members will still receive their discount

The corridor area is ONE WAY.

Please go straight to your allocated bay, we are using all of our bays and therefore ask that you be considerate of those around you when moving in and out of your bay

Please stay in your bay until you have finished your session, this will allow others to walk along the red carpet area to their bay and when exiting.

When you have finished your session please leave via the door at the end of the range (clearing marked with a black EXIT sign)

It is important that you take your basket with you and return it to the designated area near the reception door. This will allow us to sanitise it for future use.

OUTSIDE BAYS ARE NOT TO BE USED unless you are explicitly told by a member of staff. This will usually be where 1-1 coaching takes place.

There is a short information video on our facebook page.

Thank you and we hope you enjoy getting back on the range!

ChixWithStix 2019

Chix with Stix - Women only!

To dispel ideas that vast technical skill is necessary before playing on the course and, backed up by my research at Birmingham University, I have set up the popular ‘Chicks with sticks’ programme which gets ladies on the golf course on lesson 1 and encourages learning through playing.

“It is amazing to see the self confidence these ladies have in their golf, which is far superior to that of pupils I teach totally in the range environment…and anyway, why do we take up golf?  TO PLAY!”

The 2 month programme costs £50 per person and includes 5 hours with me as well as free use of the golf course after 12 noon at weekends and before noon on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesdays and Fridays.

The first lesson for any new CWS pupil is the first session of a month.

A great way to learn, meet new people and have fun!
